Project 0719
New 32m Composite Staysail Schooner

32m Schooner
LOA 32.00m
DWL 24.40m
Bmax. 6.30m
Draft 3.00m
Disp. 68,000kg

The vessel is for a UK client who is stepping up from his current 75ft cutter. To be built from composites by Hakes Marine in Wellington New Zealand, with the interior being completed in China and shipped in modules for installation. At 68 tonnes the vessel is fairly light displacement and combined with her generous sailplan and ballast all contained in a large bulb, points to good sailing performance.

The owner is sailing oriented and often skippers the boat himself, including racing. The vessel will have a paid skipper and crew of five and will be based in Asia for much of the time, although the Med and Carribean are also target destinations.
