12.0m One Design Keelboat – "Z 39"
This design was selected as the winner of the Yachting New Zealand One Design Keelboat Design Competition. Built by Hakes Marine in Wellington utilizing an exquisite set of tooling these boats are finished to the same exacting standards of a custom race yacht.
The design brief called for a Cat 1 capable race yacht that is capable of performing as a family cruiser for Gulf and Coastal cruising over an extended period. The designs pedigree is well proven with many race wins over a variety of disciplines fully crewed and shorthanded against some of the hottest 40ft competition.
