Soon to begin construction at Q-West Boats in Wanganui in aluminium, this vessel will have a very busy working life making some 17 rendevous with ships each day in one of New Zealand’s busiest ports, sometimes in conditions that are quite extreme. Good sea keeping ability is as important as speed and reliability. There has been a strong emphasis on ease of maintenance and efficient operations, along with safety.
